The Metstrade Show is the world’s largest fair of marine equipment, materials and nautical systems. In collaboration with Superyacht Forum Live, it is the only international exhibition focusing on B2B for the maritime leisure industry and serves as a platform for innovation, market development and remains a connecting point for the maritime industry.
1,276 exhibitors from 48 countries took part in the fair. Among them were 180 companies from 29 countries, which presented themselves for the first time this year at the Metstrade fair.
Among the high-profile events was the presentation of professional sailor, world record holder and ocean activist Dee Caffari. Visitors’ attention was also focused on the HISWA Marina Symposium, where a discussion on the development of marinas in the Netherlands took place, with an emphasis on hospitality. The Metstrade Show also hosted the high-profile GMI Gloabal Meeting, where exchanges of views, discussions on current topics and, of course, the possibility of global networking take place. For younger marine enthusiasts, The Young Professionals Club is interesting, bringing together professionals from the maritime industry who are under 35 years old. This makes it easier for younger professionals to connect with other young people in the nautical profession.
Superyacht Forum Live presented a new vision in its mission in Amsterdam – the Superyacht 2030 project. In line with current sustainable development goals, renewed energy and the requirements of the next generation of superyacht owners, Superyacht Forum Live will focus on market efforts, sustainability in all market sectors.
E’dyn was also introduced with innovations and the improved engine of the Free Time collection, a new outboard model e’dyn 2035 with up to 25kW of power, was put on display. It reaches zero emissions, has a low level of noise and vibration. It is simple in its structure. Compared to other competing engines, the e’dyn’s favorite 2035 is extremely light.
Another novelty is the new color e’dyn display, which will be available in 2022.
